Golden Temple or Harmandir Sahib is the holiest Sikh gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India.
It was completed in August 1604.

Harmandir Sahib is open to all persons regardless of their religion, colour, creed, or sex.

There are some regulations to visitors:
- remove shoes
- wash feet (close is one pool)
- no alcohol, meat, cigarettes, drugs
- head covering (those who do not have it, may get it there)
- no shoes

if you stay to listen to Gurbani, you must sit.


The Harimandir Sahib runs one of the largest free kitchens in the world, serving 100,000 people on average daily. <3
